Description

Smoke is a file that uses stealth to download and execute the downloaded file. It can
support any file type and has been tested on Win98, Win98SE, Win2k and Win ME. It also
downloads file quickly since the program is done in the lowest level of programming
language, ASM.

Features
--------

--> Fast executable
--> A 5.5kb server
--> Auto Run Option while file isn't completely downloaded yet
--> Fastest download algorithm available
--> Un-installs server automatically after download
--> A feature to show an error message when the server is executed
--> Melt dropper after installation
--> Download files in different extension and run it as .zip/.scr/.pif

Included Files
--------------

Downloader.exe --> The server which installs and download files from a remote URL
Server Editor.exe --> Use this to edit options in the server (downloader.exe)
Readme.txt --> You're reading it!!!

A Little Help In Server Editor
------------------------------

OPEN SERVER FIRST BY CLICKING ON OPEN

Registry --> Runs downloader automatically during startup while the download of file is
             not yet complete

Server Filename --> The name of the downloader to be saved in windows directory
		    e.g. expIorer.exe

Registry Text --> The Description of the downloader when added to the registry

Melt Dropper after installation --> The program is divided into two parts, the downloader
				    and the dropper. The dropper creates the downloader
				    dynamically in the windows directory and runs it. Now,
				    you have the option to melt the dropper after installation
				    of server.

File Url--> The location of the file to download

Save Downloaded file as--> The filename of the downloaded file after download
                           e.g. saved.exe, saved.scr
			   *HINT* Some web hosts doesn't allow download of .exe
                           files. Change the file extension to anything like .xxx
			   .zip and upload it. Now in "Save Downloaded file as",
			   save the file having the extension of .exe or .scr

Show Error Message --> Check this if you want the dropper to show an error message on execute

Error Caption --> The Text of the caption on a messagebox

Error Message --> The Message on the message box

History
-------

v1.1 April 17,2002

Fixed a nasty bug on the server editor. Thanks to astreal 1.

v1.0/April 15,2002

Added Features:

option to melt dropper after installation
option to autorun
Encrypted Server

Changed the Server Editor to a simpler GUI. It is done in ASM. Released in EES! :)

Decreased File Size to 5.5kb

BETA III/ April 5,2002

Fixed another bug which I thought was fixed.... Sorry again. Now, it supports
All Windows Platforms. THE DAMN DOWNLOADER DELETES ITSELF AFTER DOWNLOAD CORRECTLY!!!!
(Thanks Psychotic Worm)

The downloader is now 6kb due to the fact that it must support all windows
platform in uninstalling the server... I'll try and get that down to a very small size...

BETA II/ April 3,2002

Fixed bug that saves the downloaded file to the same directory as the dropper.
All downloaded files are now run in the Windows Directory. (Thanks to Psychotic Worm).

The executable is now divided into two files, the dropper and the downloader. The dropper
creates a copy of the downloader in the windows directory and runs the downloader.

Fixed bug that the downloader doesnt delete itself after download. (Thanks to Psychotic Worm)

Added a close button in the server editor. Sorry everyone, I deserve a kick in the ass for
this.

Added the explorer Icon. Bloated the size from 4.5kb to 5kb

Optimized Download speed. From fast to faster :)

For Beta Purposes, you can press F10 to stop execution of the program.

And changed some grammatical errors :)

Why call it Smoke?
------------------

This projects has been delayed too many times because of the fever i'm suffering due to my
"newly caught" sickness, acute bronchitis. The doc said i got it from too much smoking.
So figure the rest out.
